Homa Hotels can be a model for green hospitality in the country

According to the Public Relations of Social Security Tourism Holding, Alireza Tabesh, CEO of Hegta Holding, on the third day of Farvardin 1404, during his Nowruz visits to Hegta subsidiaries, he visited Homa Hotel in Tehran and met and discussed with the managers and employees of the group, while reviewing the Nowruz service process.
After the visit, in the coordination meeting of Homa Hotel managers, which was attended by Saeed Yavorpour, Director of Homa Hotels Group, Mahyar Najmabadi, Advisor and Director of the Office of the CEO of Hegta, a number of Homa Hotels Group managers and general managers of Homa Hotels from all over the country, online and in person, key issues were discussed and reviewed, including improving hotel standards, developing green hotels, improving the status of employees, and increasing productivity.
In this meeting, Tabesh emphasized the need to implement sustainable development policies in Homa Hotels and said: "Green hospitality is one of the most important issues in the world today, and it is expected that Homa Hotels Group, as a leading brand, will take serious measures in this regard with the support of experts. Waste separation, reducing energy consumption, and using environmentally friendly technologies should become part of the operational standards of all Homa Hotels in the country.
He pointed out the need to eliminate traditional methods in hotel management processes and added: "In Homa Hotels, some processes are still carried out manually and traditionally. All operational processes, including internal information, management coordination, and providing services to guests through digital systems, applications, and advanced software, should be carried out as quickly as possible."
Following this meeting, the general managers of Homa Hotels in Mashhad, Shiraz, Bandar Abbas, and Tehran presented reports on the occupancy rate of hotels during Nowruz. According to these reports, the occupancy rate of rooms in some Homa hotels has reached 100 percent and the service delivery trend has increased compared to last year.
The CEO of Hegta Holding, while expressing his satisfaction with these statistics, emphasized the importance of developing and strengthening the Homa brand and said: Homa Hotels is one of the most valuable brands in the Iranian tourism industry, and it is necessary to further strengthen the added value of this brand with a transformational perspective, providing high-quality services, renovating infrastructure, and utilizing new technologies.
He also emphasized: A comprehensive report on the status of mechanical and electrical installations of all Homa hotels should be prepared, and the ideal conditions for upgrading the infrastructure should be identified in order to take the necessary measures to optimize these sectors.
Continuing the meeting, Tabesh pointed out the importance of attracting investment in the hotel industry and asked the general managers of Homa Hotels to prepare their investment packages and development plans in collaboration with the group's CEO, and stated: Homa Hotels Group must continue previous measures with clear, precise and specific plans for the development and renovation of hotels. It is essential that managers accurately identify investment opportunities in their complexes in order to attract investors and improve hotel infrastructure.
The CEO of Hegta Holding also emphasized the importance of continuous training of employees, saying: In some parts of Homa Hotels, there are successful examples of high-quality services that should be extended to the rest of the group's hotels. In the areas of food and beverage, housekeeping and facilities, specialized training can have a significant impact on increasing customer satisfaction.
Referring to the glorious history and nearly half a century of Homa Hotels Group in the Iranian hotel industry, he emphasized the need to develop and upgrade this complex and announced: Homa Hotels, with its privileged geographical locations and significant infrastructure facilities, have a favorable space for defining investment packages and attracting partnerships. Therefore, we are planning to formulate targeted investment packages in this complex and our path will be towards attracting partnerships.
The CEO of Hegta Holding, emphasizing that investing in Homa Hotels can create a major transformation in the country's hotel industry, added: By implementing development programs, this complex can, in addition to improving service standards, capture a greater share of the domestic and international tourism market.
In another part of his speech, Tabesh emphasized the important role of employees in the quality of service delivery, and referred to the concerns of employees regarding their living conditions, benefits, and job status changes, saying: "Human resources are the greatest asset of any organization, and employee satisfaction and motivation have a direct impact on the quality of services provided in hotels. For this reason, addressing employee demands, paying salaries and benefits on time, and providing favorable working conditions will be among our priorities in managing the Homa Hotels Group so that employees in the Homa Hotels Group can continue their activities with motivation and organizational affiliation."
Referring to the employees' requests for the restoration of job benefits, including the payment of bonuses, he announced the implementation of this issue and added: "After the investigations and approval of the Hegata Board of Directors, the payment of bonuses has been reinstated for employees, and in the new year, new programs will be implemented in line with the performance evaluation of the units to improve the living conditions and motivation of employees."
Tabesh also emphasized during this meeting the need to expedite the determination of the task of the Homa Hotel Tehran kitchen project and noted: "Given the holding of the relevant tender, this project should reach the exploitation stage with a logical and calculated planning with precision and quality, and the necessary measures should be taken to complete and launch this complex in 1404, so that in addition to improving the quality of catering services, the hotel's productivity and standards will also be improved."
In concluding the meeting, the CEO of Hegta Holding, while appreciating the efforts of the managers and employees of Homa Hotels, expressed his hope that in the new year, we will witness positive developments and effective steps towards the growth and excellence of the Homa Hotels Group.
Also, during this visit, the CEO of Hegta Holding visited various departments, including the restaurant, kitchen, laundry, housekeeping, facilities and confectionery, and was closely informed about the activities, operational challenges and concerns of the employees. While having a sincere conversation with the employees, he obtained information about their working conditions, income and livelihood problems and issued orders to address these issues within the framework of laws and regulations.
