Fathi added: "Tourism is one of the important pillars in achieving sustainable development, and given the country's vast potential in the fields of historical, cultural, natural, and health tourism, we in the Islamic Consultative Assembly are committed to facilitating investment, developing infrastructure, and especially facilitating the process of providing facilities to activists in this field."

The head of the tourism faction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly emphasized the need to utilize the capabilities of the private sector and holding companies such as Hegata in developing domestic tourism, adding: "With the cooperation and participation of institutions such as Hegata, it is possible to achieve the development of cheap tourism, which can have a direct impact on improving the quality of life of different segments of the population, especially workers and retirees."

Further, Alireza Tabesh, CEO of HEGTA, while presenting the plans of this holding, pointed out the importance of sustainable development and creating a value chain in the country's tourism industry and said: HEGTA was established with the aim of synergy in providing tourism services and today, with six subsidiary companies, including in the hotel, rail transportation, tour and accommodation sectors, it operates as one of the largest tourism holdings in the country.

Stating that HEGTA's subsidiaries provide a variety of services in more than a hundred locations across the country, he noted: "In order to support the working class and retirees, HEGTA is considering special programs to offer investment packages aimed at developing affordable tourism and optimizing the accommodation and welfare service network." Tabesh also pointed out the importance of domestic and foreign investments in developing tourism infrastructure and stated: "We at HEGTA are seeking to attract new investments and increase international interactions so that we can better utilize the unique capacities of Iran's tourism. The development of tourism areas will not only bring economic prosperity to deprived areas, but also pave the way for sustainable employment."

At the end of the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of coordination between the government, parliament, and the private sector for the development of the tourism industry and the optimal use of existing capacities, and it was decided to pursue the necessary measures to strengthen cooperation in this area.
